Lisa Ayow is a contemporary visual artist from Toronto currently working in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She attended Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts, Toronto, has a BFA Hons. from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON (1994) and a BEd from University of Manitoba (2001). In 1996 she was selected to be Artist in Residence for West Baffin Eskimo Co-op Print Studio, Cape Dorset, Nunavut and continued to live and work in Cape Dorset for three years. Lisa has printed in print studios in Toronto, Vancouver, Cape Dorset and Winnipeg. Lisa is a regular volunteer at Art City, Winnipeg Art Gallery and Plug In Institute of Contemporary Art. Her work can be found in private collections and is in the corporate collection at Ernst and Young.
